Owen graduated from Dublin Institute of Technology (Now Technical University Dublin) as an architectural technologist in 2000.

He has over 20 years experience in the construction industry.

He has previously worked in architectural, engineering and precast manufacturing companies.

His interests are football, golf, films and reading.
